Google AI Overviews
Google AI Overviews are the AI-written summaries Google shows above the regular search results for some queries, with links to the pages they draw on.
When they appear
Not every search gets an AI Overview: Google decides per query. When a tracked prompt gets no AI Overview, that run has no AI answer, and kennt.ai leaves it out of visibility.
How they are tracked
AI Overviews are part of the Google results page, so they are read from that page for the market's location and language. They can't be fetched live reliably, so kennt.ai's free check leaves them out; the paid plans track them every day.
AI Overviews vs. AI Mode
AI Overviews sit on top of the classic results; AI Mode is a separate, conversational tab. Same company, often different brands and sources: track them separately.
